Invictus Launch Week 2955: Ships, Sales & Free Fly
Invictus Launch Week 2955 brings free fly access, manufacturer showcases, new ships, and some of the best deals of the year. Here's what you need to know.
What Is Invictus?
Invictus Launch Week is Star Citizen’s annual military-themed ship expo, held in-game at the Bevic Convention Center on Area 18, ArcCorp. It’s one of the biggest events of the year — and crucially, it includes a free fly period that lets anyone play Star Citizen without purchasing a game package.
Invictus 2955 runs from May 15 through May 27, 2025.

Each day showcases different ship manufacturers, with their ships available to fly for free:

New Ship Reveals
MISC Starlancer TAC
The military variant of the Starlancer series. Where the Starlancer MAX is a hauler, the TAC is a dropship and gunship. Heavy armor, troop transport capability, and serious forward-facing firepower. This is a ship built for org operations.
Mirai Guardian MX
A missile-heavy variant of the Guardian. If you liked the Guardian’s agility but wanted more ordnance, the MX delivers with an expanded missile loadout.
Greycat MTC
A new tactical ground vehicle from Greycat. Compact, armed, and designed for rapid deployment from ship cargo bays.
What to Do During Invictus
- Try everything. Free fly means you can test ships you’d never otherwise access. Use this to inform your next purchase.
- Tour the Idris. The guided tour of the Idris capital ship is available during Invictus. Don’t miss it.
- Check the store. Limited ships and warbond deals are available throughout the event.
- Recruit. Free fly is the best time to get friends into Star Citizen. Send them the link.
